Hi People,
I have seen this error sometimes when I access the eBay website.
I don’t know if it’s the problem with my internet connection or the website settings can anyone guide me through it?
Please help.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I suggest you to perform the following troubleshooting steps to fix the issue.
-
Please upgrade your browser to the latest version.
-
Please make sure your computer’s date and time is correct.
-
Check your Firewall settings. Sometimes the firewall may block some websites. If blocked, make a new firewall rule to allow the website.
-
Try browsing the website from another browser like Firefox or Google Chrome.
-
If the above steps do not help, try resetting the internet settings on your computer.
This should fix your issue.
Thanks and regards,
Skarbos Jay.

This error usually appears when visiting a website that is either down for maintenance or is down for some other reason. On the other hand, when a website is experiencing heavy traffic problem and a visitor tries to access, a different error will appear and sometimes will mention something like a gateway error.
When a website exceeded its supposedly monthly allowed bandwidth, a different sort of error will also appear on your web browser, and it’s far different from the one you are getting. When a website exceeded the monthly bandwidth, your browser will display the information that the website experienced heavy input of visitors and somewhat exceeded the monthly allotted bandwidth.
Usually when this happens what the website can do is to either wait until the next month for the reset of the bandwidth or to upgrade the website’s monthly bandwidth to avoid the problem from happening again in the future. I once experienced this when I visited the website of my local bank and it only last for about several hours.
The error you received on your web browser usually includes a 404 error at the beginning. I think you didn’t include it in the screenshot. The 404 means the URL you are trying to access is either down or is totally disconnected. When a website is down it is maybe because they are doing regular site maintenance or they are fixing some problems.
You cannot also point that error on a parked website because a website that is configured as “parked” will only redirect you to the host’s park page where you will see other links. So if this error appears on your web browser upon visiting a website, it is maybe due to site maintenance.
Try visiting it again after a couple of hours.
