Facing problems when adding extra RAM

Hello,

I am using an old computer. Though i work in office so i decide to buy an extra ram to increase my performance. I am using windows XP service pack 2 for my computer.

My previous ram was 256. now i bought extra 256 ram to double up the speed. In the beginning the performance was quite ok and i was satisfied enough. After some days i am facing an unknown error which i never seen before.

There is an error shows suddenly in my computer but i don't know what to do. the error is 

ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND

2 (0x2)

Now need a perfect solution. is this the ram problem? Or any thing else? Please help me to solve.

Hello JULIO,

This not the RAM problem. The error which you specify is not the Hardware error, It is either MS Office software installation's file missing error or Windows corrupt installation's error. Simply refresh you windows and install a good antivirus, should fix this problem…

Mostly people are not using any antivirus and facing these kinds of problems… So i suggest to install windows 2007 with service peck 2 professional edition and then install kaspersky antivirus 8.0. to fix this problem forever…

Facing problems when adding extra RAM

The error message that appears on your screen has nothing to do with the RAM that you added on your system. The problem that you encountered is about a missing file.

Verify when you usually see this error on your screen. It is possible that this error usually appears after opening a certain application in your computer. Try to investigate which application is causing this error message to appear.

If you managed to find the software that is causing this error message, try uninstalling it then check your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system.

Then, install the application again. This will fix any corrupted files in the installation and will restore the settings back to default including missing files as well.

If the disk check didn’t help, try checking your computer for possible virus infection. Update your antivirus then run a full system scan on your computer.
