Hello fellows,
What is all about the access of hotmail through firewall? My current operating system is windows 7 starter 32 bit, and there are some instances that I get some warning when receiving emails, chat messages and more. I just want to know why is my firewall blocking my hotmail account or website?

Hotmail account is being blocked by Firewall in Windows 7
You must have connected your hotmail account to a suspicious 3rd party tool. It also happens when the 3rd party tool you connected to using your hotmail account is not verified by Windows 7. This happens all the time, especially because of spam e-mails. Do not worry since you can manually allow your firewall to accept the launching of your hotmail by manually changing it. This is how to do it:
1. Go to your control panel
2. Click on Windows Firewall
3. At the left side of the window you will see "Allow a program or feature through Windows Firewall"
4. A window will appear then search for Hotmail.
5. Click the box next to it then click OK.
You can then open your hotmail without the windows firewall blocking it.
