A Japanese company has announced the a the ey have made an iPhone which is bullet proof and the ey are selling it at  $650. What do the ey mean by the e phrase "bullet proof"?

The bullet proof iPhone invention

A Japanese company named Marudai has unveiled a $650 bulletproof case for iPhone.The bulletproof case features an inch thick slab of steel plating. And the company claims it can resist a .50 caliber round. The back side of handset is protected  and there's a hole for the camera lens. The front side of camera is protected by a thin sheet of aluminum. 

The firm also offers a bonus for purchasers – an empty bullet so that you can show your friends exactly what you are protected against.
