Hi!

Some web servers hosted the site issue 403 – forbidden error at one time.  A secured website will not open at all to casual internet users and it will show unauthorized message. Sometimes, the Internet service provides a home page in which the website doesn't offer any homepage resulting in 403 error.

If you think the URL, which is accessible to all on the internet, has recently changed anything basics in the website set up resulting 403 message, solutions for your problem can be as follows:

  1. Website setup problem in the webserver.
  2. Secured websites will not allow you to go back to previous accessed page. So,  try to logout and refresh the page again.
  3. Some webpages are not open to all customers. If this is not the case, please try logging out and give accessible account and password
  4. Lastly, it can be resolved by discussing the website with the webmaster.  This may take some time to solve. You can email the webmaster of that site and the problem can be resolved.

Cheers!

Dear John Flores,

The http errors occur only when the web server, where the URL is hosted, refuses to fulfill the request just because you are not permitted to view the contents. Another reason could be that, If you are using internet over LAN, this might be your network administrator restraining you to view contents of the queried web site under your organization policy.

The Error Code 403, also state detailed problem beneath the error code, e.g. “No Directory Browsing”. You can solve this problem by just removing ‘/’ at the end of the URL and the specific web page extension like HTM or HTML. You are not allowed to access single page of the web site.
