Nokia PC Suit error during access the directory

Hi all,

I have a problem, when I try to connect my Nokia phone to my laptop. Yesterday when I try to download some picture from my phone I got this error message. I am damn sure that I have access to the directory, but still why I am getting this error? Do I need to clean the system? Is there anything wrong with the registry? Confused, please help me. Thanks in advance.

Error writing to file: C:Config.Msie96960.rbf.

Verify that you have access to that directory.

Nokia PC Suit error during access the directory

This sort of error is related to Microsoft MSI Installer so here goes its solutions.

1. Go to Start menu >> All programs >> Accessories >> Command Prompt.

2. Right-click and select “Run as administrator”.

3. Run this command:

icacls "C:Config.Msi" /T /C /grant administrators:F

4. Exit Command Prompt.

If this doesn’t fix this issue,

1. Start Command Prompt as before.

2. Run the following commands:

msiexec /unreg

msiexec /regserver

Also, from the setup file, right-click and select “Run as administrator”.

Now the installation should run perfectly.
