My AVG detected Trojan. Byte and verified infection in the Java cache directory and advise me to perform an update to remove it. However I don’t have Internet access. I am afraid to continue using the computer because it might cause further infection. Please help!

You don’t really have the internet access or you just lost your Internet connection? If you had a prior connection, try going to Safe mode with networking and get the update for AVG.

Just clear Temporary Internet Files. Click Start button, select Control Panel. Open Java Control Panel. Click Settings on Temporary Internet Files. Click Delete Files on Temporary Files Settings. Click Ok.

I rescind my computer and no more infections. Thanks! Removing temporary files worked.
