Hi
I just overclocked my Palit Geforce 9500 GT 1 gig 128 bit ddr2 about 35% using afterburner. I have used it for 2 days without any problems until yesterday. While I was playing crysis warhead, I suddenly hear a noise coming out of my rig. I found out that it was my graphic card fan failing. I immediately restarted my system and uninstall the software I used to overclock. But when I checked on my NVIDIA control panel the Graphic card still remains overclocked. Anyone knows what the problem could be and how to solve it? Thanks.

How can I reset my Overclock Graphic Card to its default setting?
I suggest using Windows System Restore to put your PC back to the state it was in before you installed Afterburner. It will restore all registry settings related to the over clock. If that doesn't work, reinstall Afterburner. Once installed, set the clock speeds to their default settings. Reboot to confirm that the settings have been changed and uninstall afterburner if you don't need it anymore. Another option is NVIDIA NTune. It is another over clocking utility. Install it then set the proper clock speeds for your card. However, I think the best solution is to replace the heat sink and fan. If it is still under warranty then have it replaced or fixed. If not, get a third party heat sink solution. Hope this helps.
