Error 80048820 when I am trying to execute the application

Hello all,

I am using intel 4 core 2 duo processor laptop. I want to use MSN messenger service to chat with my LAN friends. But, I am facing error 80048820 when I am trying to execute the application.

Please help me in running MSN messenger.

Error 80048820 when I am trying to execute the application

 

Hi there,

That problem is common in MSN messenger. The causes of this problem are the MSN server, your router or the MSN “DLL” files, try removing the MSN messenger proxy settings.

Start Messenger > On the Tools menu, click Options > Under Connection, click Advanced Settings > Delete the entries under SOCKS > Click OK, and then click OK again, if this thing do not work for you try downloading this repair tool http://www.error80048820.com/
