Autodesk Building design premium 2013 – The copy functions cannot be used.

Hi TechyV,

When I try to create a deployment in Autodesk and when fails to create the deployment or install from the network share. It gives me the following error and doesn’t let me do it.

Autodesk Building design premium 2013 – The copy functions cannot be used.

Hi Jdonnel,

This is a very common issue; you will even a similar error that I have posted above. Let me explain to you what has to be done when you get an error message like this.

These errors widely occur when a deployment is created for the Autodesk Building Design Suite Ultimate 2012 from a system that is using windows 7 X64 OS edition, it can occur even in the home premium, enterprise, professional or ultimate edition, and also in Win Vista X64 OS edition which also includes the home premium, Ultimate, Enterprise and the Business Edition.

The best and the most efficient way of overcoming this issue is to create the deployment of a system that is running Win XP Professional X64 OS or from a system that has Win XP 32 bit OS it can be Professional or Home Edition.

Try this out and it might surprise you.
