You did not specify which operating system you are using. But it is just okay since some of those open source email client can be use with both Windows and Linux or even on Mac PC. Some of it are the following:
1. Mozilla Thunderbird – This is a free email software that you can utilize easily. It can handle various email, newsgroup and RSS accounts and can sustain various identities and accounts.
The attributes like Quick Search, Saved Search Folders, Filtering and Grouping of Messages and Labels can assist users on managing and finding messages. And same with Firefox, there are many extensions and themes that will make it safe and compliant in developing your productivity.
2. Claws Mail – This is also free software that is based on GTK+. This is a lightweight, open source email client. There are also a expensive type of plug-ins that also make it safe and compliant. It runs on Windows, Mac OS X and Unix based systems like Linux, BSD and Solaris.
3. Zimbra Collaboration Suite – This is a client and server program for messaging and collaboration. It combines email, calendars, contacts, Voice Over IP, online document authoring on a browser. This is similar to MS Exchange and Outlook combination.Â
This is compatible with the registered clients like MS Outlook and Apple Mail through connectors, and also the Novell Evolution. For this, you can be able to synchronized the mail, contacts and calendars from the ZCS server. Zimbra presents the native 2-way sync to various mobile devices like Eseries, BlackBerry, Windows Phone and iPhone that runs 2.0 software.
