Hello,
After I made an update to my Windows Vista this error message boxes appeared on my desktop. I don’t know if I can roll back the updates and if this is possible. I never experienced such an error before and I am stuck with this. Can anyone please tell me how can I fix this without reinstalling my Windows Vista? Should I make updates when they are available?
Thank you!

This is really the bad side of keeping your operating system up-to-date. There is really nothing wrong even if you don’t update Microsoft Windows on a regular basis and not installing updates will not affect your computing capabilities. Minor updates only add little improvements to the operating system. The one or the update you really need to install is the Service Pack update because this is the major update.
It is composed of all the previous minor updates plus the major update. In your case, even if you are not sure if you can still roll back your operating system to its previous state, you can always try since installing Windows updates creates system restore points in most cases. To restore your computer to a previous state, click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and click System Restore.
Click Next since “Restore my computer to an earlier time” is selected by default. Find a suitable date or the date before you installed the updates and then click Next. Follow the instructions and then restart the computer to finish the restoration. There are times restoring your computer to a previous state is unsuccessful.
If this happens, check if there is an available update for your operating system and then install it to possibly fix the problem. Or if you are not using the latest Service Pack for your operating system, install the latest Service Pack to fix the error on your computer.
