Tell me about free speaker drivers for Windows XP.

Hi,

My operation system is Windows XP and I had a installation problem of USB Modem and as a solution I re-installed Windows XP. Now I have a problem my sound system does not work. I checked the speaker and its connection but I could not find any fault. I want install sound drivers again and please share similar experience if you have. Please tell me how to download free speaker drivers for windows xp and will it fix my problem?

Hi Bertha Griffen,

If you know exactly what your device’s modern is, you can go to Internet to search, download and install your driver manually. If you cannot sure, let Windows do its job.

Click Start button > Settings > Control Panel > System > select tab Hardware > click Device Manager button > right-click on your speaker device > Properties > select tab Driver > click on Update Driver button

If there is any driver on your computer, choose “Browse my computer for driver software”, and select path for searching

If not, choose “Select automatically for update driver software”

Wait for result and choose one fit to your device
