What available Linux program for ripping to m4a is most efficient in this task to ensure no loss of content or any distortion to the ripped content, and what are the steps used in installing the program through the Linux terminal?

Hi,

Without an handset the Linux wont support the way to be efficient.First you need to check weather and .net application written in c++ that you have installed. This is an available CD ripper. You can able to download in this site.

Available linux program for ripping to m4a without content distortion

Hi Frank,

As you are using Linux, Ubuntu has default CD Ripping program called SoundJuicer (See below image) which can rip even .m4a file formats on CD. This application appears as “Audio CD Extractor” instead of SoundJuicer.

However, if you are not able to find it you can also use another CD rapper program called XBFA which can rip .m4a file on CD on Linux OS.
