Unable to install error message

There are error messages, which keep popping up when I try to do an installation. I am trying to install Developer for 10.7 Lion MAC OS X. But I keep getting an error message and the installation fails.

Install Mac OS X The disk “disposition to be repaired

Go to the computer with the Mac OS X install DVD, open Remote Install Mac OS X (located in the Utilities folder in the Application folder) and follow the onscreen instruction for restarting your computer using the DVD

When the Mac OS X installer opens, follow the onscreen Instruction to install Mac OS X, during installation, the installer Repairs the disk automatically.

I tried to check the installer logs, but could not figure out anything useful with the error codes.

Can anyone help me with this error message, so that I can continue with the installation process?

Unable to install error message

Hi PatriciaAnderson,

It is easy to resolve  this problem, just follow me carefully.

If you are using the V 10.2 or latest version you have to start with safe mode option.  There is an automatic disk check so :

1. Start up in safe mode ;
2. run the disk check then restart your computer ;

If you are using 10.1.5 follow my steps starting from here :

1. Insert Mac OS  in the CD / DVD driver and restart ;
2. When you boot from disk, choose the disk utility in the installation menu;
3. Choose the First Aid tab ;
4. Click on the disclosure triangle icon ;
5. Select your default Mac ;
6. Click repair ;
7. Finish.

Problem is resolved.

Unable to install error message

• It is only a technical error. So I suggest before you start the installation process, try to refresh all the applications in your system. Delete some old files you’re not using. Like in the images, music files, or in the drive c: and drive d: . Try to clean up all of them. Then after cleaning try to defrag all your files, for free space on your system because I think that’s one of your problems.
• When you are done with installing the application you needed, be sure that the application you want to install is compatible in your system.
• If not, I suggest that this is the time to contact your application Administrator for more information you want.
