Unable to Login To Lync 2010

Hi experts.

I am getting serious troubles when I try to use Lync 2010 (https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id=28177) from the OP+ edition to O365 edition.

Really, I am upset and depressed.  I'm using the trial version of O365.  If I am able to use Lync successfully, I would buy this software.

I have installed it a couple of times on my system, but it is still not running.  I've searched the forums in this website and even looked on other sites.  Then, I uninstalled and reinstalled it.

Still, I am getting the following error message:

Need to solve this. Thanks in advance.

Error:

Lync

Cannot sign in to Lync

Cannot sign in because the server is temporarily unavailable. If the problem continues, please contact your support team.

Hi ,  Kellen hope the following steps will guide you in fixing of this issue.:

–>The Error You are getting is " Cannot sign in because the server is temporarily unavailable. If the problem continues, please contact

your support team "

–>This is because of the automatic configuration should be detected the correct servers in which the user might to stay in connected

and moreover If you are signing in as custom domain (such as [email protected]), then there are some DomainNameSystem (DNS) records

that are to be added for the domain's DNS host in resulting of automatic configuration to do work.

–>It is important that if the manual configuration is worked then you continue to your work as the issue yet to be resolved.

Thank you..:-)

Hello Kellen,

That is an issue that is probably being caused by the operating system that you are using, or the installation procedure that you used. To work around it, you will need to do the following:

  • First, you will need to completely uninstall Office Professional Plus 2013 Preview from the computer.
  • You will also need to uninstall Lync 2010, and after that reinstall Lync 2010.
  • Once you have done that, you can go ahead and install the Microsoft Online Services Sign-In Assistant.
  • And then you can reinstall Office Professional Plus 2013 Preview.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Carl
