Mac OS X : Safari quits unexpectedly

For the past few days, I’m experiencing a problem while using Safari. After using the browser for about half an hour, I clicked add new tab, but nothing happens. When I tried to open new site in my existing tab, my Safari hangs up and eventually quits. Below is the error message after Safari quits:

                                       

Safari quit unexpectedly.

Click Reopen to open the application again. Click Report to see more detailed information and send a report to Apple.

 

I don’t know what to do about this.  I have already cleared the history and restarted even the computer several times but it is still the same. Does anyone have an idea on what is wrong with my browser?

Hi!

If you're sure that Safari has already been updated, first issue you have to check is the third party Plug-ins. Now to do this:

• Open your Safari, then steer to Safari Preferences. From this window, select the Security. Images are provided below.
• Then unselect the box to Enable plug-ins.  Then just continue Safari normally. If the programs act normally, then you will need to update or just delete more of the third-party plug-ins.

Now to determine which plug-in that causes Safari to quit ,here’s how:

• You have to make sure that you are logging in as an administrator.
• Now select Finder from the menu bar, then go to Folder
• Then enter the following ~/Library/Internet Plug-Ins

You will have to move these plug-ins to a different location. Creating a folder in the desktop works with this. Recheck Enable plug-ins in the security section in the windows preferences. Add continually one plug-in into the original folder. Then, try testing Safari again and see if it still quits. When you find the cause, you will have to update or delete it to return Safari into its normal function.

Hi

Try this "open safari" then near the apple logo you should see the 'safari' button. Then you should find "initialize safari" or like that. You should see a open window in front of you . If you remember your password well and if you do not use top sites select all entries and be down with it. If you opposite this then deselect all entries. After making all selection go to press on "initialize".

If it does not work, then go to system preferences . Then your account type your password and enter it. After that click on 'plus' symbol just above then make a administrative account, keep automatic log in. After that you should log out.
