How to convert VST to RTAS for Mac OSX Lion?

I'm a sound engineering newbie. I downloaded Audacity to open vst plugins that I got from the web. I want to convert my vst plugins to rtas so that I could open my plugin in Pro Tools. Is there any way that I could convert vst to rtas for mac osx lion? How? Thanks!

How to convert VST to RTAS for Mac OSX Lion?

Hello,

i am giving some instructions maybe it can help you:

• First Download the VST to RTAS Adapter pack. Try to match the adapter with your current version of Pro Tools.
• Click on the VST to RTAS Adapter disk image on your computer. Drag and drop the folder to your Applications folder. Then  start VST to RTAS Adapter Configuration
• The VST to RTAS Adapter will automatically scan your computer in these three areas for VST plug-ins:
• /Library/Audio/Plugins/VST
• /Users/<user>/Library/Audio/Plugins/VST
• /Applications/VST to RTAS Adapter /VST
• Select "Detect and Wrap" button to convert the VST plug-ins into RTAS.  Then Quit VST to RTAS Adapter Configuration and open Pro Tools. The newly converted RTAS will now emerge under Inserts in the Pro Tools Mixer. Each converted plug-in will begin with a "VST" prefix
• Purchase the Fxpansion VST to RTAS Adapter pack.
