Gmail ID verification via text

Sign up my account in Gmail. After providing all details I clicked on “I accept. Create my account”. Next page open and needs verification code which was sent via text by providing cell number. Written below that you will receive code within 15 minutes. I was waiting for half an hour but no text received and I refresh the page and tried again but Google says this email ID has been registered and I tried to sign in but no response. Guide me what is the problem here? And how can I recover this email ID?

You probed regarding recovery of your new Google email account. You rightly said that after creating account Google asks for a verification code via text message or an automated voice call. Both these options are available on your mobile phone and you can use any of them according to your convenience. You further said that you waited for half n hour but did not receive any text message. There might be a reason for this that you did not entered the number according to the international standards which includes a country code as well. For example: +92xxxxxxxxx.

If you want to recover your email you should go to the Google sign in page and by clicking the “forgot password” option, you would be guided through a procedure where you would be asked different questions, including your security question. Answer all the questions as you did at the time of sign up and you will recover your email account
