My flash player does not play flash animations over the internet even though I have downloaded flash player.
In stead I get a message saying: "Your current security settings do not allow Active x controls to run on this page".
How to solve this problem?

Problem running of flash player
Hi James Franklin ,
To resolve this problem you have to follow my instructions.
You have to know first of all what is ActiveX. ActiveX is a software that introduce flash player to web pages so this Software is important for playing videos it same as DirectX for games but ActiveX for web video.
So what you have to do now is
make sure you have the last version of flash player
make sure you have the last version of ActiveX
open your navigator and make sure to allow ActiveX in your security setting
close your navigator to apply settings and then open it again and problem is resolved.

Maybe the Security Settings in your Internet Options has turned off the execution of ActiveX controls and plug-ins.
If this is the case you will surely loose some activities happening in every webpage you visited.
To enable ActiveX again:
-
Click Start then Control Panel.
-
Click Network and Internet Connections.
-
Click Internet Options.
-
Click Security tab.
-
Select Internet from the Web content zone and then click the Custom Level button below.
Â
-
On the next window, scroll down to Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins and then set it to enable. Click OK all through out when done.

Â
Try browsing some internet sites again and see if the pages are properly displayed now.
If you are not using the latest version of Adobe Flash Player, download it now at Adobe Flash Player 11.0.1.152 is the latest release.
