Hi Moumita,

Error 404 not found, means that your computer lost Internet connection;  the website is not working ; might be down or a problem with the server. These are possible causes, why you keep getting these error messages.

How do you connect to the Internet, wired or wireless? Do you have a router connected to your modem or not? These are the questions that need answers, just to identify what are the causes for getting this error messages.

For wired connection, what you need to do is this:

• Power off modem/router/computer in sequence;
• Check CAT 5 cord from modem/router/computer;
• Check Local Area Connection status;
• In Start, Control Panel, Network and Internet, Network Connection and LAN should say connected/enabled.

For wireless connection, what you need is this:

• Power off modem/router/computer in sequence;
• Re-connect and type WEP.
• Go to Start, Control Panel, Connect to and reconnect to your wireless network, re-type WEP key.

These steps should let you connect to the Internet and fix 404 not found error messages.
