Unable to upgrade the OfficeScan server

Hi there,

Since I have installed Micro Trend I am unable to make any updates and upgrades. I didn’t find any solution for this error and I don’t think I will so is there anyone who might help me please with this ? What is the problem that is causing this ?

Installation Unsuccessful

Unable to upgrade the OfficeScan server. The server is currently performing database-related tasks. Please allow some time for the task to complete before running an upgrade again. If the problem remains after running another upgrade, restart the computer and then run another upgrade.

Unable to upgrade the OfficeScan server

Hello,

These kind of errors occur when a client install package is used to perform an upgrade. If you really want to resolve this error then you have to perform some tasks using OfficeScan. 

You have to create a new Client Package using the configuration of OfficeScan Server. Now use the new package to upgrade the clients.Befor creating the client package the server checking routine must be disabled.
