Hello everyone,
I have an upcoming project in our class involving making a magazine. I do not have any idea on how to make the front cover. Can anyone be kind enough to give me any tutorials or just tips on doing this? This would really help me.

How to make magazine cover
It is important to have an original magazine cover you want to imitate. Find this first before planning on making one. Open the original cover in Photoshop and copy first all the text. Next is to replicate the background, most background in magazine cover are in gradient. Now select your gradient tool and copy the colors of the original magazine. Now try to replicate the background cover. Place your Subject first followed by the text. This allows the subject to be behind the text. And last, have fun while doing this! Use creativity!

You can do anything from scratch. For a magazine cover, there are basically 3 parts. The title, the subject and the side text. Before starting making the cover, be sure you have an idea on what to write on side text. Now, place your title first followed by the subject and lastly the side text. Be sure to put other stuff like barcode, price and other things found on a real magazine cover.
