How to install Windows from USB
Here,
The main challenge is to fetch the Operating System (Windows 7) into the USB. Follow the steps given below-
-
You need to utilize the DiskPart (free disk partitioning) utility of your windows system and you have to prepare the thumb drive here. Still if you don’t get it, you can download it from the net and it's free.
-
Type diskpart in the search Box of the Start Menu.
-
Then run the command “list disk” to check the status of your all drives. Here select disk1 and 1 is the corresponding disk number of your USB.
-
Clean the drive then.
-
If it’s clean, you can create the primary partition now. Make the partition active through typing active.
-
Now set up the file system to FAT32 by running format FAT32 quick.
-
If you enter assign command, it will provide the USB a drive letter. Now it can be accessible by windows explorer.
-
Copy files of Windows 7 from the DVD to USB.
-
Insert the USB to your laptop and reboot your laptop now.
You’ll see that the installation procedure is now same as it is normally.

How to install Windows from USB
Installing Windows 7 from a USB thumb drive has certain advantages to its users.
As the small USB key is more convenient than a DVD to carry you will love it utilize this opportunity.
Even, the OS will install faster. You may get an alternative to install the OS in a netbook where it doesn’t have a DVD drive.
