Hi Markusa Raine,

 

TSM is a data backup and recovery package which is centralized and is based on some policies.

It allows the user to enter objects and also the retrieval of the same data using some methods.

 

With multiple TSM servers, you can set up an inter communication between different servers and can improve disaster recoverability. Its capabilities are:

 

• Create, Configure, Control multiple servers.
• Distribute consistent configuration which eases in the management of a number of servers and clients.
• Tasks can be performed simultaneously on different servers.
• Logging for each server can be enabled in a centralised Logging server.
• Single server can be used to monitor each single servers.
• Data from one server can be stored in another server.
