Google Chrome default browser problem

I made Google Chrome as my default browser in my laptop because I find Internet Explorer to be really slow.

It works fine for me but sometimes when I use some software, they wanted to connect to their website, and Internet Explorer still keeps popping up. I wonder why this is happening, but not all software in my computer, only about 4 or 5 of them.

Why Internet Explorer still keeps popping up even my default browser is Google Chrome?

Google Chrome default browser problem

Hi, this is more likely the effects of hijack ware infection or a spyware and Trojan virus. This viruses creates a registry entry for  the auto launch the Internet web browser, this what happens in your Internet Explorer.  If you have an anti virus installed in your computer it maybe the subscription is expired when your computer is infected.

• My solution is this, hoping this will help, Here are the simple steps in disabling your Internet Explorer browser.
• Click on your desktop right click then choose properties, then customize tab and look for the web, Uncheck all the options, Next is click the start up menu and just delete any of the shortcut you will find.

Google Chrome default browser problem

• Google Chrome maybe your default browser but the settings of the Internet Explorer is still set to pop-up when a link is click.
• This is not a big issue for me, when it pop-up, I just copy and paste the URL from IE going back to Google Chrome.
• Sometimes, it may take sometimes of doing it specially if your annoyed if doing this, tired or just not feeling doing it.

1. Go to Tools, Internet Options and click Programs
2. Remove the check on "Tell me if Internet Explorer is not the default web browser".
3. This has to be uncheck to stop this from happening.
