The iOS 11 is set to release in June; but before this, Apple has already launched their last major update for iOS 10. The tech giant has launched the first public beta of the latest iOS 10.3, which gives everyone a glimpse of the latest features coming to iPods, iPads, and iPhones.
TechyV has listed down the top features of the 10.3 update. Check it out below:
1. Apple ID Profile:
A new profile section was added at the top of your Settings, which includes all your account details. You’ll have quick access to your iTunes, iCloud, Family Sharing, and iCloud information. Your contact information, payment information, as well as the security settings, was also made accessible. The Apple ID Profile also includes information of all the Apple devices that was linked to your account. Each Apple ID consists of the device’s information such as the Model, Version, and Serial Number.

2. Graphical Breakdown of your iCloud Storage:
A new section was also added at the top of your iCloud settings, which includes the graphical breakdown of your iCloud usage. You can now manage your iCloud storage and see exactly the details about the total storage that are being used by each device or program. This section also listed the apps that use iCloud and the settings for other features like Keychain, iCloud Backup, and Find My iPhone.
If you have not yet activated the two-step verification of your Apple ID, you will see the latest “suggestion section” beneath your profile under the main settings page. In the future, Apple might add some suggestions on how to improve the performance of your device. For now, the two-step verification of your Apple ID was the only suggestion available.

3. Find My AirPods:
One of the main features of the iOS 10.3 update is the “Find My AirPods,” which is available to the Find My iPhone app. The AirPods were connected to your iOS device through Bluetooth, and once you sign in to Find My iPhone app, the Airpods will be one of the devices linked to your account. This feature is handy and makes misplaced AirPods easier to locate. You can play a sound to find your lost AirPod or ping your phone to make it ring.

4. Weather Updates in Maps:
The trademarked Maps app of Apple will now show us a glimpse of what would be the weather wherever we go. On the weather icon, 3D Touch will be visible to see the weather forecast or other information related to weather. The user may also book a ride using this app.

5. SiriKit:
SiriKit is an iOS 10.3 feature that allows the third-party apps to access Siri. It is now being updated with more features that will allow the user to pay bills, book a ride, check payment status, etc. through the Siri app.

The beta release consists of several other new features including the widget in Podcast app, App animations, New File System, hidden keyboard, and more. However, there is no official release date yet, which means the above-mentioned features are still subject to change. Let’s just wait till the tech giant releases this major iOS update.
