I usually use my e-mail to send files, but I commonly send small files, but lately I had to attach 20MB of file. When the upload process is about 20% it errors.
So I had to refresh it again and upload once again, but it's still having an error. I keep repeating the process for an hour. Until the end, it will always error.
Is there another way to attach a big file to be send in E-mails? I'm using Yahoomail.

You mentioned your problem which shows that there is a problem with your file not with the attachment or your account of email. Now question is why this is so: the answer for this problem is that you can repeated this task again and again but you are fail to attach that file it means that there is an error with in a file and it always create a problem when reaches at 20 % or around. So the best way is to recheck your file or to recopy or reinstall that file and then try to manage it. Another solution is that you can send or to attach that file from your some other email account if it will send from new account then it means there is an error with your account and you can fix the problem of your account by answering the security questions or by other means of security issues .

Yahoo! Mail has a message size limit of 25MB. The message size is the combination of the size of the attached files, the subject, header and body of the E-mail itself. 20 MB is still within the limit as long as your E-mail text is very minimal.

If your file attachment really exceeds the limit, you could try the following:
1. Compress the file using an archiving utilitysuch as WinZip, WinRAR or 7-zip (http://www.7-zip.org). 7-zip has the highest compression ratio meaning it can compress a file more than any other compression format such a ZIP or RAR.
2. If the file has already been compressed but is still too big to send, you can split the file into chunks. You can then e-mail each part in separate e-mails. Most compression programs have the ability to split (sometimes referred to as "spanning") the archive that they generate. There are also applications that are made to split and combine files. One example is HJSplit (http://www.hjsplit.org/). Whatever method you use to split the file, make sure the one receiving it has the same software so he/she can combine the split files again.
3. Use file hosting services such as 4shared, FilesTube, Rapidshare, etc. These file hosts have free and premium services. You can use the free service if you won't be regularly using it. You can then just email the link of the file for the receiving party to download.

In your problem, maybe there is a connection problem in your side or maybe yahoo has some downtime when you tried to upload the file or maybe you have reached the file limit of attachment. Yahoomail has a limit of 25mb on attachments, but 20mb file can be also difficult to send because it almost reaches the file limit. Try to compress the file before sending it, compressing it will lessen the filesize. There are new features available on yahoomail is called ‘Attach Large Files’ which is powered by yousendit. This application is available to users that enables you to send files more than 25mb, and it can handle file as much as 100mb. Or you can also try to use some free file hosting sites to host your file and then just attach the link of the file storage on your mail. Hope it helps.
