File Conversion: Format Factory Error 0xc00005 In MKV

I am currently using the software ‘format factory’ on my PC. I need to convert a .mkv video file to .avi. But when I attempt to convert it, a format factory error 0xc00005 shows up.

File Conversion: Format Factory Error 0xc00005 In MKV

The error 0x00005 is a system error. It shows a blue screen called BSoD (Blue Screen of Death). It looks like format factory is corrupted or incompatible for your OS. Try any one of the following steps.

1. Use VLC media player to directly play the .mkv file you have. In this way, you need not convert the file to .avi.
2. If you still need to convert it, try another software. There is a freeware called ImTOO mpeg encoder. It is compatible with Windows and easily converts video file formats.
3. If the video is small in size, try to convert it online. Upload it on zamzar.com to convert it.
