How to view old and unread messages from Whatsapp

I gave my smartphone to my brother so I removed all the apps on it including WhatsApp. I just received my new smartphone and I want to install the app on it, but I wonder, will I be able to see the messages sent by my friends when I was not using WhatsApp?

How to view old and unread messages from Whatsapp

There should be no problem getting the messages that you have not received while not using the What's App application. However, there is one certain condition and that is you are using the same phone number to access the What's App application on your new phone.

All messages that are unsent on What's App will be delivered to you from their server once you log in.
