Retrieve Avi files from SD Card
Hi,
Yes, it is possible to restore files from your SD card or to any storage devices, as long as your SD
card can be recognized by your system or computer. And in order to retrieve or restore your files
from your SD card you will need a recovery software.
You can download Recuva:
http://www.piriform.com/recuva
https://filehippo.com/download_recuva
Â
This software is very useful and reliable because it can retrieve your files from damaged storage devices,
formatted disks, deleted emails, accidental deleting of files, deleted from recycle bin, digital camera card,
SD card, MP3 player, and iPod. And using this software is easy because it is user friendly.

Retrieve Avi files from SD Card
There are factors that need to be considered to have a successful data recovery in any type of storage media. After your data or let us say here, your avi files, have been deleted or accidentally deleted, the sectors in the storage device where the avi files are stored will be freed from all the data that it previously hold. If after the deletion you immediately performed the data recovery the chances of getting a successful operation is high.
But, if after the files have been deleted you copied or moved some files to it then all the available sectors that were previously occupied by the avi files will be overwritten. Therefore, performing a data recovery at this stage usually results in failure.
When a file is deleted from any storage media, even if it was already been deleted, the sectors in the media that it occupied still have bits of information about the file. That’s why files are still recoverable after deletion.
