Other ways to import a website aside from FTP

I created a website in the Website builder and I want to transfer it. I sent it to FTP so I can send it to the new host, which is me, but it will not display properly. There are no links and no background. Is there any other way to import the website?

Other ways to import a website aside from FTP

Hi Floyd, FTP or the File Transfer Protocol, although known worldwide and is still being used by millions of web sites, is so old that there are other alternatives. FTP does not use encryption. User information are floating in the air, waiting to be suck by a malevolent hacker. Normally, FTP users are systems users with a valid certificate and shells. At the turn of the century, there are new ways aside from ftp, one of which is Open SSH. This is an open source secure shell program. This provides a better security due to encryption, As a replacement for FTP, SFTP, is a must for every site users, aside from ease of access you will be secured for the rest of your site use.
