Avast – during the update process, an interrupt was occurred

Hello,

I have a computer at my home and I use it for basic purposes. I use unix OS which I upgraded recently. With the friend’s advice, I installed avast antivirus to protect my PC from spyware. I know that avast is 1 rated software.

But during the update process, an interrupt was occurred which terminated the process. Please fix this error so that I can update the database and protect my PC.

Avast – during the update process, an interrupt was occurred

 

 

Dear Janetdschall,
You are facing this problem due to the low speed of your internet. As a solution, I’ll suggest you to check if any other auto updating is running like Opera browser updates automatically. If you found any, just stop it and update the database of Avast normally.

If nothing is running on behind the programs, disconnect internet connection. Then reconnect and update avast.
