My computer runs on Windows 7 and Ubuntu 14.04. There is no problem connecting on wireless if I boot from Windows 7 Pro, but when I boot from Ubuntu, there is no network connectivity at all. It is not getting an IP address. Is there any settings needed to be done to make this work?Â
Cannot connect to wireless when booted to Ubuntu
Hello Crewe,
You can connect in windows 7 but not in Ubuntu it means the issue is clearly with the device drivers. First check the kernel update, if it's not updated, update the system. Please install the new drivers from the manufacturer site and check whether you can get network connectivity or not. Try to set static IP address to Ubuntu, see if that works.Â
Good luck..!!
