You can visit https://whatismyipaddress.com/blacklist-check to check if your IP is blacklisted or not. It is a user-friendly website which guides you to enter the IP address, or sometimes auto recognizes it. Then, it checks for Blacklists to match with your IP. It searches it in a huge database available on the internet. It also gives you the explanation about the reason behind it.
Another way to learn if your IP address is blacklisted or not is from IP Address Tools Online. The site offers different tools for checking IP addresses. With this site, I learned that my current IP address, 175.158.201.47, is blacklisted in 1 out of 85 (1/85) IP reputation and DNSBL services. It also allows you to check why your IP address has been blacklisted.
If you want to learn why your IP address is blacklisted, you can click “More info” under “IP Blacklist Report” on the results of the IP blacklist check.
On the next page, you need to enter the captcha to continue. In my case, according to CBL or Composite Blocking List, my IP address “shows signs of being infected with a spam sending trojan, malicious link or some other form of botnet”. According to them, the IP address is infected with Conficker botnet.
Since I’m on DHCP connection and the affected IP address is from my Internet Service Provider, I cannot do anything about the problem. To start checking your IP address, enter your IP address in “Blacklist Check” then hit Enter or click the search button.
