I am student and I want to study Java myself. My friend advises me to learn Java by making a small game.

I have no idea about this. I need to have a sample Java game code to be easier.

Could you please send me some samples?

On this thread user describes how to make a simple Pong game. It consists out of two players and they play this game using keyboard. It is very straightforward so you'll learn this very easy.
