How to get a encoded rar files?

Hi everyone,

My winrar got crashed and all of my files are in rar files. Is there other software to open my file? It says it needs encoding rar files whenever I attempt at opening it.

How to get a encoded rar files?

Hi John,

Before attempting to look for other software that could open rar files.

It's best to reinstall winrar. It saves time looking for other software and the time that downloads consumes. First, remove it from control panel's add or remove programs. Then clear the registry before installing winrar again. I suggest using a tool that cleans registry.

To clean the registries do these steps:

1. Open CCleaner.

2. Click Registry.

3. Click Scan for Issues. Wait till its done.

4. Click Fix selected Issues. Click Yes if it tells to backup the registry. Then click Fix all selected issues.
