How can I extract hard subtitles from avi?

Hi,

I've got some avi files with hard subtitles and now I want to extract the subtitles from it. How can I do it? Which software is needed for it? Please, show me the way of extracting and the link of the software also.

How can I extract hard subtitles from avi?

Hello Green,

These are the software that is used to rip subtitles from a hard coded AVI and their link.

VirtualDubMod is a unification

AVI-Mux GUI is an application

These software uses Optical Character Recognition (OCR).

Scanners use this technique to recognize characters by matching pattern from the database.

The software translate hard subs from AVI videos to text format and to tell you honestly it will  take a lot of time and hippy procedures. Here is the link for the guide
