I want methods to carry out Windows defender uninstall on my PC but I am not finding any direct way to do it. Can someone help me out here? Thank you.

Solution For Windows Defender Uninstall Method

There is no direct method to uninstall Windows defender as it is not recommended but if you still intend to do so-

1. In command prompt you need to typesc stop windefend and then type sc delete windefend
2. Then delete the following registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer
   \ControlPanel\NameSpace\{D8559EB9-20C0-410E-BEDA-7ED416AECC2A}
3. Then Grant complete permission and then deleteHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Defender

Then you need to take complete ownership and delete

C:\Program Files\Windows Defender

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Defender

C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Defender

At following the above steps Windows defender will be removed from your PC.
