1. First, open the run command by hitting the Windows key + R and typing “cmd.”
2. Next, in the command prompt, type “slmgr.vbs -ipk xxxxx-xxxxx-(the key of 25-digit) and hit Enter.
3. Then, type slmgr.vbs -ato and press Enter.
4. If you are receiving the error, then go to command prompt again and enter “Slui 3” with your 25-digit key in the Window.
5. Finally, select Activate and go to cmd in Administrator mode and type the command as “sfc /scannow” and Press Enter.
6. Now, restart your system and activate Windows 8 once again which will now work perfectly.
