Hello everyone, I am having few problems in setting up my Microsoft Account for Skype. I think I’m skipping some steps. Kindly guide me with the detailed steps. Thanks in advance for the help.

How To Setup Microsoft Account For Skype For Windows7?

Skype is an instant messaging service offered by Microsoft in August 2003. It provides online messaging (chat) as well as video chat/calling. You can also exchange audio/video or document content.

You can avail the service by www.skype.com or by downloading Skype app from respective app store.

Step for Startup:

I. Go to www.skype.com or login.live.com and click on Create Account.

II. You can connect to Skype with your social network account Facebook.

III. You can create an account by using either Mobile Number or Email id. Remember they both have to be unique.

IV. Enter your name and other credentials.

V. Password must be Alphanumeric (For security reasons).

VI. Enter the code you received from your mobile number or email id.

VII. SUCCESS, your account is created. You can connect your account with a Facebook account for larger Contact base.
