I want to VMware convert scsi to ide. I am unable to find any proper solution for this task. If anyone knows how to do it, please tell the steps. The problem needs to be solved urgently. Thanks.

Steps For VMware Convert Scsi To Ide Solution Listed

To convert scsi to ide, follow steps given below-

1. You need to find the data store path where the virtual machine resides
2. Open the primary disk i.e. .vmdk
3. Locate ddb.adaptertype=”lsilogic”
4. Instead of lsilogic type ide
5. Save the file and then in the client go to edit settings and remove ide disk
6. Then add disk again by finding it’s location and adding it

Following the steps listed above you can change scsi to ide.
