Suggestion on the GPS map updates with Android tablet

Hi everybody,

I am having Garmin Nuvi 50LM GPS device and recently I have updated the maps.

When this asked for map updates I usually download in my laptop which has Windows 7 in it and then I will update into the GPS through the laptop. But. Now my laptop got some issue and I have sent it to the manufacturer for repair so I don’t have a laptop now. But, I do have an Android tablet.

Is there a way to update maps through my tablet? Please advise me. Thanks in advance!

Suggestion on the GPS map updates with Android tablet

Hello James R Gordon, Defiantly you can update your device Garmin Nuvi 50LM GPS via your android tablet. You should open the play store in your android tablet and download the setup from there. Then backup this software and place it in your device. This will all and your device will be updated.
