Is lotus notes group calendar efficient to use?

One of the greatest technological advances today is the ability to work home or at different places due to the power of the World Wide Web. With that in mind I want my employees organize and are up to date to the tasks and deadlines needed to be done.

I want to  a group calendar where everyone of my teams access on. Is the lotus notes group calendar efficient in doing such tasks?
