Hello, I have no idea what is wrong, but the icon “my computer” is no more on my monitor. Could you guys help me out here! How can I make it show “my computer” on the desktop again? Please assist me.

How Can I Show “my Computer” Icon On My Desktop Over Again?

Hi, there has nothing gone wrong, the process of adding “my computer” on your desktop would take only a few seconds. Just keep reading through this passage for further steps.

a) Go to the desktop and right click; then you will be getting a box opened, choose “Personalize” from that.

b) Now if you take a look on the left most corner of your screen you will be able to see an option namely “change desktop icons” and select it.

 

c) Then a window named “Desktop Icon Setting” will be opened, in which you just have to click on a checkbox with “Computer” label on it, now click “OK.” Now, you can find “My Computer” icon on your monitor. (P.S: In Windows 10, “This PC” is “my computer”).
