If you have Adobe Photoshop CC successfully installed but it keeps crashing on startup, check the system requirements and verify your computer meets those requirements. Adobe Photoshop CC supports Windows 7 Service Pack 1 and Windows 8.x.

It requires 2 GHz Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent AMD Athlon 64 or faster processor, 1 GB RAM, 2.5 GB free space, 1024 x 768 minimum screen resolution, video card with 512 MB video RAM and OpenGL 2.0 support, and internet connection for product activation. If this is not the problem, make sure you are using an administrator account when installing it.

If this doesn’t help, try running as admin. Right-click Photoshop CC and select “Run as administrator.” If this doesn’t work, try to disable your antivirus. If the problem continues, uninstall and reinstall Photoshop. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install. Once installed, start Revo then select Photoshop CC among the applications and click “Uninstall.” Follow the normal uninstall process.

When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and click to delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, exit Revo then restart the computer. After booting, install Photoshop CC back.
