Media missing in the drive

Hi, I was trying a sequential test drive into the disk drive with my CDRom1. I was told that the formatted media is absent in the drive and showed an error code 066003001. I have looked in the forums for a solution but couldn’t find any.  I would love to have some solutions from you. I will be waiting for your response.

Media missing in the drive

 

Hello. In these cases, generally the CD ROM is in a badly damaged situation or is dying out. You can try uninstalling and then reinstalling the CD. This problem also can occur from the failure in performance of the fan of your computer system. Check it and it is better if you take help from a technician who can help you check and correct the fan and the motherboard related problem which is likely to have lead to a performance issue of your CD driver. You may have to change your CD driver. Hope your problem gets fixed soon. Best of Luck!
