Server Application error inserting policy stack server trace

Hello,

This error “Server application Error – unable to insert policy” while trying to create any new backup jobs after upgrading to Backup Exec 2012 started to appear. Now I don’t know how to fix this error or it will be a good idea to reinstall the older version of the program. Any solution ? What should I do ?

Server Application error inserting policy stack server trace

Hello,

 

Go to the Key owner in Active Directory and Enable or re-create it.

Restart your software services. (Backup Exec)

Go to the setting > Set the Key type to “Common”

Delete and recreate the Encryption key.

( Note : Before deleting encryption key the user name and password must be saved )

This issue may be resolved in a future revision of the software.
