Yesterday while working on the internet a sudden window appeared on the screen. I cannot understand it, please help me to fix it.

So here are few solutions which may help you-

  • Be assured that Internet properties open without error. Press Windows key + R >>>type inetcpl.cpl >>> press Enter>>>Open download Manager>>>clear list of downloads.
  • Update or reset internet explorer.
  • Perform the following scan. Download DDS program. Then run it, copy and paste logs present in Notepad with results. Finally, close, and delete the program.
  • If you want you can change the proxy settings of your internet maybe this is providing the result you want.

That’s a popup window for downloading files. It normally appears when you selected or clicked a content to download. But if you are just browsing a certain website and you didn’t download a file, don’t download the file because you might be downloading a malicious file. In that dialog, click “Don’t Install” or just click the close button to close the dialog.

I’ve encountered websites that automatically downloads malicious files on your computer even if you are not downloading a file or program. When you accidentally install this malicious file, it can put your computer in danger because the file can create outside connection without your permission and knowledge.

Before downloading any content on the internet whether it is from a trusted website or not, always scan the file with an updated antivirus.
