Symantec Back Exec 2012 error browsing failure

Hello there,

Remote Agent crash and Error "Dynamic Query Connection Logon failure" occurs when enumerating backup selections in Backup Exec 2012. Can anyone help me please to fix this error ? What could be the problem?

Symantec Back Exec 2012 error browsing failure

Hello,

The problem will occur if the “hosts” file is misconfigured and preventing the Symantec Backup Exec 2012 from accessing the locations.

In order to fix this issue, you have to install the latest (Service Pack 2) version of Backup Exec so that it won’t have the corrupted system files and cause malfunction. The SP2 version of the installer can be downloaded here.

After deploying the service pack, the problem won’t bother you again.
